A lot of things have changed these past few months. I’m going to start with my dentistry. It should be known that I have ForwardHealth for insurance because of my traumatic brain injury. ForwardHealth is supposed to bring together many Department of Health Services health care and nutritional assistance benefit programs with the goal of improving health outcomes for members. My dentist of 31 years retired this past summer. Long story short Orear’s practice was taken over by Brian Thielen.
I was informed that douche bag Thielen does not accept my insurance. Really? Why? Is it because I am too much work? Is it because your overweight receptionist does not like me or is it because you do not make enough money off me? At the end of my final appointment I overheard this disgusting receptionist giving these elderly couple so-called, “deals” off his or her dental work. Are you for real? Deals come on. Douchebag Thielen Dental and most of his employees are overpricing services and then trying to give these “deals” to keep clients coming back.
When I told my parents that I was rejected I got a sympathy response, “oh well.” So my interpretation is I get shunned even more by my support network. Good job dad and mom. I say we should BOYCOTT Thielen Family Dental on 110 N, Ogden Rd, Peshtigo, WI 54157. The phone number is (715) 582-4571.
Are you not as pissed off by now as I am? For starters, there are no oversight committees for SHITTY dentists who are only trying to make money. In other words, the patient care and quality is EXTREMELY lacking in this industry. Then, a person would think that he or she would receive the support of their family, did I?
Every dentist is faced with the problem of balancing the paradox between duty and desire...the desire to live a great life and the duty to be a great dentist. This dentist LACKS “business ethics.”
Oh and brush your teeth, research shows, after every meal that would greatly deplete the business for dentists.
It seems to me that everything is about money and anyone who says otherwise has never gone through financial, emotional, and physical struggles. I leave you with some statistics from: https://www.cbsnews.com/news/a-decade-after-the-recession-40-of-us-families-still-struggling/. I hope they shake and open our eyes to the atrocities we are experiencing in the United States.
- 40 percent of U.S. families, including middle-class households, sometimes struggle to afford housing, utilities, food or health care, according to the Urban Institute.
- Nearly 1 in 5 families said they had experienced difficulty paying for food or medical care.
- About 60% of low income people surveyed by the nonpartisan think tank said they
In addendum to the original post, I would like to say that Jeffrey Orear, my general dentist, was very much a CHEAPSKATE. I can say that because he was still trying to nickel and dime me with my nighttime guard. In addition to my general dentist my orthodontist, Dr. Fisher, was a penny pusher. He would not fit me for nighttime guards or my replacement retainers.
